13. Local bodies will play the role of administrators for the management of non-formal education programs. Non-formal education program operators can adopt different modalities. Among them, local bodies, non-governmental organizations, community study centers and educational institutions will be the main ones.
Under this policy, the following strategies will be:
♦ Running informal education programs from any model depending on the location, need and situation. will be done. ♦ When conducting non-formal education program from any model, it will be conducted by the relevant body within the scope of the Local Self-Government Act. ♦ Various committees and sub-committees can be formed to conduct the programs. ♦ A unit will be formed to monitor non-formal education programs in the District Education Office and the Regional Education Directorate. ♦ The said units will supervise and monitor the non-formal education programs run by educational and non-academic institutions.
Strategy
The following strategies will be implemented to implement the above policies and strategies: ♦ Each Mobilization of facilitators knowledgeable about informal education in the model. ♦ Management, development and upgrading of physical and human resources will be done by the managing organization. ♦ Organizations running the program to arrange nomad support workers for those who are nomads or temporary residents. ♦ To mobilize local bodies in a competitive manner to eliminate illiteracy.
